Jean Adams' Home!
For several heartbeats they lay together, and in those moments, Danielle’s world tilted. Time stopped, and she forgot to breathe. She lay perfectly still, held down by the muscular male body above her. His hard chest flattened her breasts, making her all too aware of his maleness. Every muscle, every contour of his body pressed against hers. Lordy, but he felt good.

Their faces were close, allowing her gaze to explore his eyes for a brief fraction of time. And in that time she thought she saw yearning in his. A deep longing that went on into eternity. Eyes that had once looked cold and barren, now came alive, dancing with blue flame. A muscle ticked in his jaw as his beautiful mouth tightened into a hard line. Her nostrils flared at the scent of crisp, masculine cologne mingled with aroused male.

And judging by his erection that pressed into her belly, he was aroused, no doubt about that.

So was she. In an instant, her insides had turned to liquid honey.

What should have been an awkward moment was instead tinged with an excitement Danielle had never experienced before. Something dark and primeval moved in the pit of her stomach. Heaven help her, she didn’t want him to move away.

Saxon was the first to move. “Hell’s teeth!”

Be careful what you wish for. You just might get it.

Danielle Montgomery hides a terrible secret that binds her to a life of loneliness she believes she deserves. She has never wished for anything more from her humdrum life.

Up, up and away. Come, fly with sexy Saxon.

When film director, Saxon Wainwright, drops in from a clear blue sky, wanting to make his movie on her property, he blows Danielle’s narrow world apart. But is Saxon the nemesis Danielle is expecting?

The fall happened before she could stop it. In an effort to right herself, Danielle fell flat on her back, taking the balloon, and Saxon, with her. He came down on top of her in a tangle of nylon. Even though he managed to break his fall by bracing his hands on either side of her head, his big body had her pinned to the ground.
